# Lindy playbooks

Lindy is an AI teammate from Lindy.ai that you work with in Slack, by email, by text message and in a Gmail Chrome extension. It handles email triage and drafts, meeting recording and prep, scheduling, reports and CRM updates. Teams share one Lindy in Slack channels, and each person also has a private one.

- Connects: Lindy has built-in integrations and connects to hosted MCP servers over HTTPS streamable HTTP. It turns each supported server tool into an action. Its own Skills feature saves reusable routines, but it is not the SKILL.md format. When no integration exists, its docs say it can drive a browser or write code against an API.

## Good at

- Inbox work, such as labeling mail, drafting replies and nudging on emails with no answer
- Recording meetings on Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, then writing summaries and follow-ups
- Recurring routines and saved skills that it reuses when a request calls for them

## Limits

- Guardrails that require approval for writes apply only in shared Slack threads, not in DMs, web chat or texts
- Reads are never guarded, so a connected tool is always readable
- The Chrome extension works with Gmail only for now
- The whole team spends from one shared credit pool, and Lindy pauses heavy tasks to ask before going on
