# Make playbooks

Make, formerly Integromat, is a visual automation platform. Its Make AI Agent (New) app puts an AI agent inside a scenario, with instructions, knowledge files and tools. People use it for jobs that need judgment on varied input, such as ticket triage, while fixed logic stays in normal scenario steps.

- Vendor: Make
- Kind: automation-platform
- Surfaces: web, api
- Connects: Agents can call tools from an MCP server you connect. In the other direction, the Make MCP server lets clients such as Claude and ChatGPT run your on-demand scenarios. MCP toolboxes give finer control over what a client sees.

## Good at

- Giving an agent tools built from Make modules, whole scenarios, MCP server tools or other agents
- Showing a step-by-step reasoning view that helps you debug an agent's choices
- Using models through Make's own AI Provider, with no separate model account needed

## Limits

- The Make AI Agent (New) app is in open beta, so features and pricing may change
- Agent runs, chat messages, tool calls and knowledge files all spend credits
- Connecting your own AI provider needs a paid plan
- Make's docs advise against giving agents sensitive data or high-stakes decisions
