# Muse playbooks

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent, launched in the US in September 2026 and powered by Meta's Muse Spark model. It runs on its own cloud computer with a browser, and it can send email, book travel, fill out forms and buy things after you approve. It keeps working when the app is closed and messages you when something changes or needs your input.

- Vendor: Meta
- Kind: personal-agent
- Surfaces: web, mobile
- Connects: Muse runs in a dedicated Muse Secure VM with its own browser. You choose which apps it connects to and can revoke access. A separate Sentinel service approves network actions, and purchases use one-time cards through Link by Stripe.

## Good at

- Errands that span the web, such as bookings, forms and shopping carts, with approval before purchases
- Long-running goals that it tracks in the background over days or weeks
- Turning things you saved, such as an Instagram recipe reel, into lists and plans

## Limits

- Meta's own security write-up says Muse will sometimes make mistakes and that prompt injection is still an open problem.

- Meta staff can access data under its operating policies today. A Confidential VM that would prevent this is planned but not yet launched.

- At launch Meta lists the rollout for the US only, with AI glasses support still to come.

## Playbooks (3)

- [Claim compensation for a delayed or cancelled flight under EU261, UK261 or US refund rules](https://agentshandbook.com/p/claim-flight-delay-compensation.md): You know which rule applies and what you can claim, and you have sent a claim with your evidence attached and a plan for the next step if the airline refuses. (trust: corroborated, risk: medium)
- [Find forgotten subscriptions in your email and statements, then cancel the ones you choose](https://agentshandbook.com/p/find-and-cancel-forgotten-subscriptions.md): You get a list of every recurring charge with its price and renewal date, and you cancel the ones you choose with a confirmation for each. (trust: corroborated, risk: medium)
- [Negotiate a lower internet or phone bill with an agent-prepared script or chat](https://agentshandbook.com/p/negotiate-a-lower-internet-or-phone-bill.md): You lower your bill, or get a firm answer from retention, without agreeing to a plan change or contract you did not approve. (trust: corroborated, risk: medium)
