# Replit Agent playbooks

Replit Agent builds apps from a plain-language description inside Replit's online workspace. It sets up the project, writes the code, tests it and publishes it. People use it for web apps, mobile apps, dashboards, slides and automations without writing code themselves.

- Vendor: Replit

## Good at

- Going from an idea to a published web app with hosting and a database in one place
- Plan mode, which shows an ordered task list before it changes files
- Checkpoints that let you roll back files, Agent memory and optionally the database

## Limits

- Agent may change parts of the app you did not ask about, so Replit advises you to test unrelated features after each change.
- Paid Power and Max modes spend credits. On Core and Pro plans, Free Mode allowances reset every five hours and also have weekly caps.
- Vague prompts such as "make my app better" give poor results.
